    The shot heard around the world. No one knows who fired it but the battle began and 8 colonists were killed at Lexington. The British then when to Concord however upon not finding any weapons they turned back and there were 300 minutemen waiting for them by the bridge. The British were forced to retreat and had lost 73 men and another 200 of them were wounded or lost.
