    The Battle of Fort Sumter was the attack and surrender of Fort Sumter which started the American Civil War. South Carolina wanted the US Army to abandon their facilities in Charleston Harbor.

    The Battle of Gettysburg

    Confederate General Robert E. Lee led his Army into Union territory. Eventhough Lee was outnumbered, Lee had made amazing victories. Thousands of slaves served in support roles for the Army of Northern Virginia. As Lee’s army marched north into Pennsylvania, they brought as many as 500 African-Americans. Lincoln called for “a new birth of freedom” and democracy itself was at stake. Corpses outnumbered residents of the village of just over 2,000 by four to one.

    Little Bighorn was part of the Great Siox War. Once gold was found the area, white settlers and miners came in. U.S government failed to persuade the Indians to sell the Black Hills to them. As an excuse they said it was because of the Indian Raids.

    Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldren are the first humans to land and walk on the moon. “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind,” is a quote that Neil Amrstrong said on that day.

    A plane was crashed into the Twin Towers by a group of terrorist. Many were killed during the event. The plane was supposed to crash into the Pentgon but crashed into the Twin Towes. Those on the plane found out about the terrorist and even tried to stop them. Some called their families.
