    At the start of World War 1, the United Kingdom had a few disputes with Germany and the United States. The German agents were conducting unrestricted activities against their countries interests. At the same time, the United States refused to check their Indian Seditionist movement, which was a major concern.

    The United States and United Kingdom signed the U.S. -Great Britain Mutual Defense Act. This treaty allowed the U.S. to transfer nuclear secrets and material to Britain. Also, Britain could conduct underground atomic tests in the U.S., starting in 1962.

    In August 1990, Saddam Hussein's Iraq invaded Kuwait. Because of this, Great Britain joined forces with the U.S. in a plan to force Iraq out. Hussein disreguarded their attempts so the Allies launched a 6 week air war before a ground war of 100 hours.

    After the 9-11 Al-Qaeda attacks in the United States, Great Britain once again joined the United States; this time, for the War on Terror. Together, Britain and America invaded Afghanistan in November 2001 and Iraq in 2003.
