Proclamation of 1763
Proclamation by Britain at the end of the French and Indian War that stoped settlement by whites on Indian territory. It established a British-administered reservation from west of the Appalachians and south of Hudson Bay to the Floridas and ordered white settlers to backdown.This angered many colinists due to the fact that they have been left alone for so long. -
Sugur Act 1764
british made the colonist pay a tax on molases and sugar ,but the colonist were angered.therefore, colonist convinced all 12 colonies but one to stop buying tea from the british, leading up to the stamp act of 1765 (I do not know the month or day but the year is correct) -
