    The British and French are argueing over the control of American territory. After 9 years of war and 7 years of battle, the British won. The war was nicknamed the "7 Seven Years War" The people involved in this war are George Washington, William Pitt, and Edward Braddock
  • French take Fort Necessity

    French win after George Washington surrenders because of losing 1/3 of his troops. Took place in western Pennsylvania.

    Took place in what is now New York City.

    All French lands east of the Missississippi River except for New Orleans. are given to the British and all French lands west of the Missississppi are given to Spain.

    A tax on sugar.

    A tax on all legal documents such as magazines, newspapers, liscences, playing cards, and stamps
  • Townshend Act

    Tax placed on common goods such as paint, lead, paper, glass, and tea.
  • Tea Act

    A tax on tea brought into port.
  • Intolerable Act

    Had many individual acts such as the Quartering Act where British soldiers were allowed to be quartered in the colonists houses. Another act passed by the Intolerable act was that the british closed off all the Boston Ports until all the tea had been paid for and restored.

    The 4 major battles took are the battles of Lexington and Concord, Bunker Hill, Saratoga, and Yorktown. Thomas Paine, Washington, Lafayette, Gates, and Rochambeau are the 5 most important people included in the Reevolution. The 5 Grievances involved and caused the Revolution are the Sugar Act, Townshend Act, Stamp Act, Tea Act, and Intolerable Act.
  • Decleration of Independence is Adopted

    In Philedelphia, Pennsylvania the decleration was written by Thomas Jefferson and signed by 56 other people. It was a document adopted so everyine would know that each of the colines are independent. Thanks to this, it helped the us think our country's future by having us think about new examples of freedoms and to create equality.
