Alanna heard of the ship going from angle island to new york to work she got a little bit of money she saved to go on the ship when she got on the boat she saw a boy from her school his name was Bartley he saw Alanna and waved to her. -

they arived in one peacie before she got off the ship white American man took her and checked her out to make sure she had no deisse checked in her eye lids the one man said your good you may go she didn't want to work on the skysrepers she wanted to work on the rail roads.
