Ferguson is about Homer Plessy refusing to sit in a Jim Crow car which infuriated the white people. When in court, there were different debates at to if it interferred with the 13th and 14th ammendment. This would anger african-americans because they would not find this act unconstitutional.

    Our DocumentsDuring this time there was a lot of segregation which is why this court case took place because of inequality through neighbourhoods everywhere. Brown did not think it was right for seperation through public schools so decided to take it to law. With that being said, Brown won the case because it was unconstitutional.
