    Jessica's mom begins to smoke again. She is worried due to the fact that smoking causes: chronic bronchitis, lung cancer, and a weakened immune system.

    Jessica had to stay home from school because she had a flu. She had to get plenty of rest, drink a lot of fluid, and stay away from a lot of people. To prevent it she could get vaccinations, stay clean, and stay away from people with the flu.

    Jessica's dog dies, and that was her first significant loss. She was in denial, and didn't believe that he died, but over time she accepted, and felt closure.

    Jessica would stay up late during the summer, so when she started school she struggled getting enough sleep.

    Jessica got used to going to school, and sleeping early on a regular basis.

    She starts to think logically, and more understanding of other's point of view.

    Jessica finds out that diabetes runs in her family. If she wanted to become healthier, it would lower her chance of diabetes, chlorestoral levels, obesity, and better health overall.

    Jessica realized that she ate too much junk food, and decided t o eat healthy. She will do that by following the food pyramid, and eat more nutrious fpod.

    Jessica decides to become abstinent. That can prevent her from getting STIs, becoming pregnant, and mainting her reputation. Also, she should stay away from people who are going to pressure her.

    Bestfriend Starts Drinking on the Weekends
    Jessica's bestfriends started drinking with her other friends. Jessica is worried about Rebecca, because of all the negative effects. One example is that alcohol changes their judgement. Next, it scars the liver tissue. In addition, it increases urine output which may lead to dehydration. Finally, alcohol increases the production of stomach acid, which causes people to vomit or it can cause nausea.

    Jessica's teachers piled homework and projects, but she decided to do them last minute creating her to be stressed out. She would be moody, and get less than 6 hours of sleep. She then realized that she needed to space out all of her work, so she does not do everything last minute.

    Jessica takes her bestfriend's key away from her friend while trying to go home from a party. Jessica explains that her judgement is altered, and can harm others. In addition, they have a risk of stroke, and she could have a stroke while driving.
