Mibs was born some time in the fall of 1995. I choose this event because without it Mibs wouldn't exist, therefore the story wouldn't happen. Or if the story did still happen the events of the story would change because they couldn't read minds. -
Fish's 13th Birthday
When Fish turned thirteen he got the savvy to control weather and he accidentally created a hurricane. I choose this event because this caused the family to move inland and this is the first 13th birthday Mibs was old enough to remember. This worried Mibs and affected how she acted at her birthday party. -
Father's Accident
Just a day before Mibs' 13th birthday her father got in coma due to a car accident. This is the event that sparked the entire story and caused Mibs to run away the next day, that is why I choose this event. -
Mibs' 13th Birthday
This is the day Mibs got her savvy and ran away to help her father. I choose this event because Mibs getting her savvy is every important for the story, which she needed to use many times. Also this is the day she ran away which the entire story is about. -
The True Savvy
This is when Mibs learns what her actual savvy is, to read minds but only if they have ink on them. This important because that means she can't wake her father up. She also now can use her correct savvy instead of trying to use the wrong one. -
The Awaking
This when Mibs and her friends get to the hospital and wake up Mibs' father. This is important because the conflict is resolved. Also Mibs learns she can use her savvy the other way, to let other hear her thoughts.
