57 days before the proposed election date, all residents over 18 years of age of respective councils must have enrolled to be eligible to vote. -

Close of Nominations
32 days before the set election date, all candidates must have sumbitted their nominations -
Close of voting (Postal Votes)
Voting for residents in council areas with a postal voting system must have sent their ballot papers, to be received by 6pm on the last working day before the election. -
Close of voting (Attendance Votes)
On election day, voting centres open at 8:00am and close at 6:00pm. All attendance votes must have been submitted in this time period.
