    On September 8, 1900 this category 4 hurricane destroyed multiple busniness, homes, and even lives. It has been said that this is one of the most deadliest hurricanes to happen in American history. It has been documented that there were over 8,000 deaths and over 16,000 injuries.
  • The Great Depression

    The Great Depression
    The Great Depression was a widespread issue that affected everyone leaving most individuals unemployed, no money, and no food. What caused this depression were a multiple of things, some including the crash of the stock market in 1929, oversupply and overproduction problem, low demand with little to none employment, bank failure, etc. This would cause a widespread of panic, people would have to deny insurance and healthcare because lack of money and would have to plant their own crops.

    Dust Bowl
    Crops begin to decrease in numbers caused to a major ongoing drought during the 30's. With no water to grow grass, there was no grass to house soil, and with no soil seeds could not be planted. The dry dust led to massive dust storms to occur more frequent and often. These storms were so large they got as large as 2 miles high and traveled over 2,000 miles.

This scandal included attempted coverups on the behalf of the Nixon administration for the illegal act of breaking into the Democratic National Committee headquarters at the Washington, D.C., Watergate Office Building.

    This nuclear accident in Ukraine is still considered to this day one of the biggest nuclear explosions in history. The radiation was so intense this caused many people to flee their homes, jobs, and even caused death. It increased the rate of cancer and sickness for multiple people due to the high exposers of radiation.
