  • Allessandra Volta

    Volta is credited as the inventor of the electrical battery and the discoverer of methane. In 1779, he invented the Voltaic pile. He was a physics teacher at University of Pavia. He was idolized by his students while his 40 years there.
  • Eli Whitney

    Eli Whitney was the inventor of the cotton gin. The cotton gin was one of the keys to the industrial revolution and it helped the economy of the south. Whitney continues to invent things until his death in 1825.
  • Gottlieb Daimler

    Daimler was a pioneer of internal-combustion engines and automobile development. He invented the high-speed petrol engine. In 1885 him and his inventor partner Wilhem Maybach wnated to invent a gasoline engine. They founded Daimler Motoren in 1890.
  • Thomas Edison

    Thomas Edison was a businessman and a inventor. He created the phonograph, motion picture camera, and the electric light bulb. Edison applied the concepts of mass production and large-scale teamworkto the process of invention. He has some credit for the creation of the first research labratory.
  • Alexander Graham Bell

    Graham bell was a scientist, inventor, and innovator who has partial credit in inventing the telephone. He worked in optival telecommunications, hydrofoils, and aeronautics.
  • Guglielmo Marconi

    Marconi was a Italian inventor and electrical engineer. He worked lon-distance radio transmission. He is credited as the inventor of the radio.
  • Henry Ford

    Ford was an American Industrialist and was the founder of Ford Motor Company. He created the first automobile that nau middle class American could afford. He became one of the richest and best-known people in the world.
