The colonist capture this fort on May 10 1775. Green Mountain Boys helping the colonist win against the British hold there. Benedict Arnold and Ethan Allen lead these men to fight this battle. They seize thing for artillery which they knew it would help them in the future.

Battle of Lexington and Concord
War started in April 19 1775. Was the first American Revolutionary war. The colonist won this battle and give them hope to keep fighting against the British. Paul Revere and other rider signal each other about the British coming. Was hoping to catch Samuel Adams and John Hancock. Some one shooting but did not know who shot first. 90 were wounded or killed on the colonist side.

Battle of Bunker Hill
It started on June 17, 1775. The leader of the militiamen was Colonel William Prescott. It took the British 3 time for them to push the colonist to retreat. The British lost 800 men while 200 were wounded and for the colonist 100 were dead and 300 were wounded. None of the famous colonist die. -
Battle of Trenton
George Washington lead the colonist to fight this war. Started on Christmas day. Washington had to cross the Delaware river. He launch his secret attack on Christmas day. Washington won the battle by having the British surrender. It help the colonist gain even more hope because they were beating the British which who they never thought they win against.

Battle of Saratoga
It took in Schuylerville. The colonist won this battle pushing the British back and having the French on there side. This show the French what the colonist was suffering and lend them aid. Benedict Arnold and Horatio Gates lead them to fight this war. This became a turning point for them because they had gain an ally helping them fight against the British and just won a major battle against to.

Battle of Yorktown
This battle is what ended the Revolutionary War and colonist gain there independent. General Lord Charles Cornwallis surrender to George Washington. The French help the colonist win this battle. General Lord Charles Cornwallis was in charge of the British being held there. At the end of this war the colonist gain their independent and afterward had the Treaty of Paris 1783 sign giving them their full independent.
