    Tim Burton was born in Burbank, California. Originally named Timothy Walter Burton, later changing his name.

    During Burton's young years he would often entertain himself with watching old horror films. Horror stuck out to the young boy, usually the films of Roger Corman which inspired many of his films and drawings.

    While in Burbank high school, Tim didn't like math or science or really anything that didn't have anything to do with art. He would create stop-motion films in his pre-teen years the oldest one still surviving is The Island of Doctor Agnor which he made at the age at 13.

    After being inspired by the films of his early childhood Tim Burton began drawing and after high school he enrolled in California Institute of Arts, where he majored in animation.

    After graduating from California institute of Art, he got an apprentice animator for Disney for only a little over a year, which then he separated from Disney for creative differences.

    After Disney, Tim created his claymation film Vincent which won him an award and much approval of the film critics.

    After his first film he tried live action in his film creation of " Hansel & Gretel" and " Frankenweenie" and met with huge success, along with that was his official leave from Disney.

    Following the success of this two films prior led him to go on to directer the spin off of " Pee-Wee's big adventure" which he collaborated with song writer " Danny Elfman"

    Pee-Wee's adventure gave Tim the chance to create one of his most well known live action of "beetlejuice". It quickly became a smash hit as being the first of it's kind in the genre.

    Tim Burtons batman created a lot of buzz with its bright costumes and dark humor. Burtons Batman became a quick classic as it was widely loved by all, the performances given were very before there time becoming one of the baselines for every batman film to come after.

    Huge success seemed to follow Tim after also creating the classic film "Edward Scissorhands" a strange love story, a twisted version or Pinocchio if you will. which is claimed to be his best movie to date.

    The reason i skipped up to these films is because these films were a huge jump start for Tim Burton, when these films came out they dawned a huge whopping 207 million in box office and had gone up for an academy award. These wonderful films are "Charlie and the chocolate factory" and "Corpse Bride" one being a world famous live action movie and the other a beautiful love story from the grave.

    When "9" and the live action film " Sweeney Todd" had come out they were both put up for many awards and now sweeney is recreated many times, in live performances for viewing and pleasure.

    Tim burton had met Helena Bonham in 2001 while working on his film "Planet of the apes" and they had began to date. in 2003 they brought their first child Billy Raymond Burton and bought their house which was Helena's grandmothers house which was leased to Helena. Four years after they had welcomed Billy into the world they brought a beautiful baby girl into the world named Nell Burton. then in 2014 Helena released that they had split up.

    Tim Burton is currently said to be working on the films " Big Eyes", "Monsterpocalypse" and "Deep". also he is said to be working on the sequel to one of his most famous movies " Beetlejuice".
