The Breach, a bridge between Earth and the Anteverse that connects the two dimensions, first opens. The first Kaiju ever recorded emerges and attacks San Fransisco, killing millions of people and property, until its death through the use of multiple nuclear strikes. Lucifer One is launched from Los Angles.
Command Crew: Ellie Caffey and Gail Stasz. A dangerous and gifted pair, the two are childhood best friends. Lucifer One, launched August 24, 2018 from the Los Angles Shatterdome is one of the most agile Jaegers, and of the Mark-IV Jaegers, behind Striker Eureka. It focuses heavily on flexibilty and prizes agility in its fighting, similar to Gipsy Danger. British provided men and finally aided in the construction of their first Jaeger. The Dutch supported the build as well. -

Lucifer One Active Duty

Striker Eureka is launched.
Command Crew: Chuck and Herc Hansen. A skilled and effective father-and-son team. Striker Eureka is the first and only Mark-V Jaeger to be launched, presumably from the Sydney Shatterdome. It is light and agile, and is the fastest Jaeger on the planet, standing second shortest in height to the Gipsy Danger. Though a working partnership, there exists almost no relationship between (son) Chuck and (father) Herc Hansen outside the Drift. -
Yancy Beckett is killed in action.
A category III Kaiju emerges from the Breach, codename: Knifehead. Yancy Becket is pulled from the Conn-Pod of the Gipsy Danger and is killed. Raleigh Becket is either dismissed or leaves the PPDC. -
Iroha incident occurs. Ellie Caffey and Gail Stasz leave the Jaeger program.
Ellie Caffey and Gail Stasz discover the strain Drifting puts on Stasz's mind. Caffey quits, and as a result, Stasz ends up following as well. The PPDC has no knowledge of Stasz's drifting problems. Caffey, unable to remain inactive joins the military as an officer. Stasz works as a martial arts instructor. Lucifer One is put into storage, damaged, though not entirely decrepit. It remains in the Los Angles Shatterdome until it is moved to be stationed in Hong Kong. -
Marshal Pentecost recruits the pilots of Lucifer One for Breach assult.
Gail Stasz accepts the offer immediately, heading with another transport provided by Pentecost to Hong Kong. She disregards her own health. Ellie Caffey initially refuses the offer, though when told that Stasz has already accepted, takes a cargo plane headed to Hong Kong, refusing to tell or recieve help from the PPDC. -
Pacific Rim Breach is destroyed.
Status: Destroyed. Three Jaegers are tasked to destory the Breach. Lucifer One is fitted with the package, whilst Striker Eureka and Gipsy Danger escort and assure that no Kaiju interfere. When attacked by Slattern, the first ever Category V Kaiju, completing the triple-event, Lucifer One, housing Stacker Pentecost and Gail Stasz detonates their package, killing only category IV Kaiju Scunner and Raiju. Pentecost and Stasz are killed in the blast. Gipsy Danger closes the Breach alone.
