    Thomas Edison was born on February 11, 1847 to parents Samuel and Nancy Edison. Thomas Edison was the last child born oout of the seven Edison children. When thomas was younger people would aslo call him Alva or Al as a nickname because that was his middle name.

    Thomas was the youngest out of the 7 chhildren. Thomas's father was apolitical activist from Canada. His mother was a very good school teacher that had a major impact in Edisons life. He had many ear infections which left him having difficultys hearing in both ears. He also got very distracted in school and his teacher concidred him to be "difficult" and prone to distractions but look where that got him now!

She was 16 years olf and he was 24 years old when they got married on christmas day. also on that day Edison couldnt hold back but to go back to the company after the ceremony to work on his stock ticker.

This was the first time Edison made his invention public, also during this time Edison stated, "We will make electricity so cheap that only the rich will burn candles." so he was vey confident in his succesfult bulb. the incandescant bulb is a lamp or bulb that is an electric light with a wire, heated to a high temperature by passing an electric current until the bulb or lamp lights up.

I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work", which inspired people to work til the acieve what they want and not to give up
