    Gentlemans Agreement
    The Gentlemans Agreement made clear that Japenese rascism in the United States would stop. In order for this to happen, Japan would need to offer something in return. To stop Japenese rascism located in the western part of the US, Japan stopped giving passports to Japenese workers who wanted to come to America. (Date: N/A)
    This agreement, however, became tainted later on in history. As a result of the attack on Pearl Harbor, rascism towards the Japanese in the United States started to increase.
  • Paris Peace Conference

    Paris Peace Conference
    The Paris Peace Conference was conveyed in January of 1919. This conference established the means of peace after World War I ended. Representatives from Great Britain, the United States, Italy, and Russia became known as "The Big Four", Some of the nations that had signed the treaty did not remain with peace for World War 2, as the breaking of the Peace Conference broke all alliances between the nations that had signed it.

    Treaty of Versailles
    In 1919, the Treaty of Versailleswas signed. This ended World War I. In 1919, the treaty was signed by Germany and allied nations (Britian, Russia, France, and Italy). It ensured peace between the nations and made clear that Germany was responsible for the payment of damages that were caused throughout the war, Germany, being outraged by the consquences of the Treaty and the War-Guilt Clause, went against these regulations and continued to persue the dream of a dominant power over the world.
  • Neutrality Acts

    Neutrality Acts
    The Neutrality Acts was signed in August, 1935, by President Theodore Delano Roosevelt. It ensured that the United States would stay out of any possible European war by banning shipment of war materials. However, the United States continued to supply Great Britain with various war materials to ward off and defend against the rising powers of Germany.

    Lend-Lease Act
    The lend-Lease Acts helped the United States in many ways. For instance, the United States was able to recover their war materials after the attack on Pearl Harbour issued by the Japanese. The United States had joined World War 2 and had ended isolationism for a number of reasons. The Lend-Lease Act, helped America build up war materials to fight back against the Japenese after the gruesome attack.
