  • Sep 25, 1555

    Peace of Augsburg

    Peace of Augsburg divides Christianity in Germany. Its an agreement that accepted the division of Christianity in Germany. They could now choose different types of religion to practice like Catholicism or Lutheranism.
  • Dec 12, 1562

    French Wars

    The French wars of religion start to begin. The Protestants and Roman Catholics were fighting in these wars. THe Edict of Nantes ended it.
  • England Won

    England defeats the Spanish armada. They had faster and stronger ships. It was mostly a water faught wore.
  • Henry IV

    Henry IV issued the Edict of Nantes After 30 years of fighting between Catholics and Huguenots. It ended the French Wars of Reiligion. It also gave the Protestants full civil rights.
  • 30 Years War

    In 1618 the 30 Years War started in all of Europe. It was faught all over Europe with mercenary strategies. In 1648 the treatie of Westphalia ended the war.
  • Shakespeare

    Shakespeare first folio is published. A folio is a type of leaf. They may fold it sometimes it depends on the person.
  • Massachusetts Bay Colony

    English found the Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1630. There were about 1000 puritan refugees who settled there. They had a govenor who was John Winthrop.
  • Louis XIV

    Louis XIV begins absolutist power in Europe. He had control of Everything in his state. He did ask local leaders for some ideas.
  • Pueblo Rebellion

    The Pueblo Rebellion temporarily overthrows Spanish Rule. It all happened in New Mexico. It lasted a whole 12 years of fighting.
  • La Salle

    La Salle claims Mississippi Valley for France.A french explorer explored all allong the Mississippi River and claimed all the land for France. They later named it the region of "Louisiana".
  • James II becomes King

    After his brother died he came to the throne. He faced a lot of rebellions while he was king. His father was executed in 1649 a while before he started.
  • John Locke

    John Locke publishes Two Treaties of Government. It is a work of philosophy people say. John Locke is also known as one of the most best political philosophers.
  • Louis XV

    Louis XV became king when his father passed away. He was only 5 years old when he cam to throne. I would think he couldn't do anything for the state.
  • Louis XIV

    In 1715 Louis XIV died. He was almost 77 years old. It was a sad moment for the whole state when he passed.
