    Ben and Patience get sick after sneaking into the house and then Ben remembers something that he read about candles being soaked in arsenic. The candles are tested and they were definitely soaked in arsenic. When they burn, the poisoning goes into the air.

    Ben and Patience start to put together the pieces and realize that Mr. David did it. He poisoned his aunt and his father so that he could inherit the money and property, so he is taken to jail and Mr. Richard becomes better. Ben and Patience receive money.
