The british declaired war on the french beacuse of land disputes. The british goes to win in some of the most importent wars in the comflict. Like the battle of Qubec in Canada. Just like any war it puts the goverment in debt more than they can pay. -
The Proclamation Of 1763
The proclamation of 1763 was that the colonist could not settle west of the appalashion mountains and it was also a way to make money off the colonist to pay for the british war debt. The colonist were not happy beacuse they felt they had the right to settle were they pleased. -
The Sugar Act
The sugar act taxed the sale of sugar , molasses and other thing and encluded a harsh pushesment for smugglers. James Otis to coin the phrase " taxation without represenation is tyranny". Beacuse of the act British colonist boycott the british goods. -
The Stamp Act
The stamp act taxed the sale of stamps which were used in everything from contracts to wills to news papers and even playing cards. Colonist demanded that the act should be repaled. -
Quartering Act
The Quarting Act was so the British soliders could live and must be fead by a colonist and the cononist could not say no to the soldiers. All the cononist rights would be violated by the soldiers coming into their house. -
The Townshend Act
The townshend act was an act passed by the British which taxed and let soldiers serch houses and boats which were suspected of sumuggling illegal wepons and tea. -
The Boston Massacre
The boston massacre was when British soldiers fired upon unarmed colonist who were rioting on boston street. They were rioting beacuse they blamed the british soliders for the loss of their jobs. -
The Tea Act
The tea act was passed and increased the price on one pound of tea. The price went up 3 pents for a pound and the colonist were not happy with the new act. -
The Boston Tea Party
Th boston tea party was when colonist boarded a british ship in the boston harbor dressed as native americans and threw crates after crates overboard the colonist were so happy. -
The Intolerable Act
The government spent immense sums of money on troops and equipment in an attempt to subjugate Massachusetts. British merchants had lost huge sums of money on looted, spoiled, and destroyed goods shipped to the colonies. -
Paul Revere's Ride
The ride of Paul Revere was to warn the colonist about the British soldiers who were marching to concord to remove colonist wepons that were stock piled. -
Lexington And Concord
The battles of Lexington and Concord were two battles fought between the british soldiers and colonist. The british won the battle of Lexington and the colonist won the battle of concord.
