Heinz (Age 0) was born in the country of Drusselstein, where both of his parents were absent. Can they trust and rely on family? (Despite the obvious scientific anomaly) Heinz didnt have parental care during this stage beginning a rather terrible childhood. -
Adolescence of Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz
Heinz (Age 18) was allowed to join the OWCA due to him being legally considered an animal being raised by ocelots rather than his own parents during his early years of childhood. He was later fired due to his incompetence. This crisis of Identity vs Confusion ties to the fifth stage of Erik Erikson's theory, due to the fact that Heinz hasnt felt much belonging and isnt quite sure what he is. Animal? Man? Rejected at every turn has left him confused on who he is as a person. -
The Adulthood of Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz
Heinz (Age 33), Had been married to his ex-wife Charlene, and raised his daughter, Vanessa. Heinz and Charlene later divorced but maintained a rather civil relationship, sharing custody over Vanessa. This stage of his life correlates with the sixth stage of the psychosocial development, Intimacy vs Isolation. His whole life had been a lonely tragedy (his childhood friend was a balloon) but he did manage to get married. He now wants to spend as much time as he can with his daughter.
