after a fair amount of time looking for it they deiced to buy a new one, and spend 40,000 dollars on a necklace to replace give that one back to her friend and pay the necklace off which they did.

she suffers being in the middle class, she wants to be in the highest class, then she finds out that she got tickets to a ball where only the highest people go to.

when she finds out about the ball she was worried, because she has not got a dress of high class, and she has to somehow get one. her husband gave her 400 dollars to go get a dress which he had saved up to by a few guns to go shooting next summer.

she ends up buying a dress that she loves to bits and wants something else to finish the look off, she ask one of her wealthy mates to let her lend a necklace, which her friend did and it was really expensive and beautiful. she loved it.

she went to the ball feeling so beautiful and high class, with so many people looking at her she had the time of her life, when it was time to go and pitch dark, she hoped into a cab wouldn't put her middle class jacket on and went home.

as she got out of the cab she finally put on her coat when no one was around, and she realized that she had lost the necklace they looked everywhere where they could possible could look but no where to be seen

after 10 years they finally paid off the debt, with all the hard work and exestuation its all over, she decides to tell her friend about what she did with the whole necklace situation, she said that it was only worth 400 dollars.
