  • Bunker Hill

    On June 13, 1775, the leaders of the colonial forces besieging Boston learned that the British generals were planning to send troops out from the city. In response to this intelligence, 1,200 colonial troops under the command of William Prescott stealthily occupied Bunker Hill and Breeds Hill, constructed an earthen redoubt on Breed's Hill, and built lightly fortified lines across most of the Charlestown Peninsula.
  • The Dates

    The battle started on June 16, 1775 and the battle ended on June 17, 1775. America won!
  • Bunker Hill

    The battle of Bunker Hill was fought on Breeds Hill. On June 17, 1775 about 2,000 soldiers from British carried Heavy packs, up Beeds Hill. The American had very little ammunition. They could not waste a single bullet. Although most of the war took place on Breeds Hill, it later became known as The Battle of Bunker Hill. More than 1,000 British soldiers were killed or wounded. The American only suffered about 400 soldiers killed or wounded. The commanders were Great Britain-Sir William Howe.
  • Ticonderoga

    Benidict Arnold and Ethan Allen go to British fort to steal/capture cannons.

  • Bunker Hill

    Warren's body was dug up and identified by Paul Revere who recognized Warren's two false teeth which have installed with metal wire earlier in the year.
  • Rebel Isrrael Putnam

    Rebel Israel Putnam barked the famous command to his men "do not shoot until you see the whites of their eyes". Putnam was born on January 7,1718 and died May 29, 1790.
  • General William Howe

    Howe was born on August 10, 1729 and wasin the British army from 1746-1803, and sadly died on July 12 1814.
