What needs to be done.
The authorities need to search the cornfield thoroughly and will find objects with Harvey’s DNA on them and possibly even Susie’s DNA. -
The hat.
When looking in the cornfield, the police found Susie’s hat that had her saliva on it making them conclude that her murderer used it to keep her from screaming for help. Therefore, Harvey’s DNA would be on the hat since he had to touch it to shove it into her mouth. -
The stash away.
The address of the Flanagan’s drop off hole for appliances with a safe combination so the investigators know to open the safe and find the bag where Susie's body is stored. -
Outside the murderer's house.
A picture of Harvey’s rose bush to lead everyone to his house to search his house where they will find several clues proving him guilty of her murder. -
The leak.
In Harvey’s garage he claims that the spot on the floor is an oil stain when really it is Susie's blood, so the authorities could get a DNA test to insure that it was the blood of Susie. -
The charm.
While searching Harvey, the police would find Susie’s charm bracelet making it evident that he was with her, hence he had something valuable of hers. -
It's me.
Susie always used the shoe piece when playing Monopoly with her family. This piece would show her family, or whoever found the capsule that it was her trying to show them who her murderer is.
