This novel is about a girl named Susie Salmon. She was fourteen when she was murdered on December 6, 1973. Susie is telling the story of her death and what happened. We have found out so far that her old teacher Mr. Harvey took her to a field on the way to school. He made some type of "clubhouse". Mr. Harvey was a "close friend" to their family in-a-way. When they were in the "clubhouse" in the field, Mr. Harvey raped and melested her. Now to start reading chapter 2.
