    America's Turning PointOn Dec. 7,1941 a Japanese air fleet attacked the U.S. naval base Pearl Harbor.This attack turned the whole war around for the U.S.. The main target now were the Japaneese starting on Dec. 11th 1941 i was scared, i didnt know it was real til i saw the ship get hit by a fighter jet.i asked to myself if was going to live or not.

    PRESIDENTIAL PROCLAMATION Proclamation 2525 was a law that if America were in war with another counrty they can over watch the desendants of that counrty in this case the japanese.This was basicly camps for the Jap. people.
    all i knew is that people thought i was an enemy because of my race but i couldnt argue if were the same situation in my country we would be lining up the prisoners and probably would of killed them.

    On May 6 Elanor Roosevelt(presidents wife) took a visit at Gila river to see how the camps were treating the people under the camp services.She thought that we were doing a great job for working for America.and cooperating but she was a very nice woman who played games with me and tought me how to sew i wished all people were sorta like that.

    THE TRUTH ABOUT RELOCATIONIt was the hope of the War Department that many of the Japanese and Japanese-Americans would move out voluntarily and resettle inland on their own initiative.This was the plan that the U.S. was going to put the Japs in camps. more moving and more moving and i didnt know what to think. i didnt know if this was getting better or worse.

    i was cold,and scared i could hear the enemys infantry hit the sand on the beach and it was loud.I knew that i fight or i die but neither were realy apeiling.

    Victory in Japan (V-J) Day This was the day that Japan surrenderd to thand then U.S. WWII was finaly over for the japanese people in Japan and but also in America,V-J Day stands for Victory over japan day.
    i heard the people cheering people ringing bells celebrating but for what I thought we were stillo in this camp as criminals,but all I knew was that the war must have been over.

    The Camps Oct 15, 1945 all camps were issued to be closed and shut down for the reason there was no more need for the camps sincee the war ended with japan.But all the camps but one closed and that was lake Tule in California. It were for the people who didn't take the loyalty oath, so it was a segregated camp to keep the U.S. safe.
    i remeber the day it was Oct. 15, 1945 and i was packing my bags thinking where to now?
