Pontiac's Rebellion was led out by the leadership of Ottawa war chief Pontiac. He led a coalition among the different Indian tribes to alert Europeans to stay off Indian territory which resulted in very violent acts against Indians and colonists/British. • Proclamation Line

    Proclamation Line
This line was established in 1763 by the British government because of Pontiac’s Rebellion. This area was highly populated with Native Americans and the government didn't want any further costly wars or confrontation with the colonists and natives, so this line was placed as a marker to keep European settlers from expanding westward. And it indicates that the British was going to do all that they could to increase their empire even if that meant taking more land from the natives.
  • American Revolution

    American Revolution
The American Revolution played a huge impact on Native Americans. These 2 pictures are of Joseph Brant a Mohawk Indian who fought in the American Revolution on the side of the British and after the war he went back to Lake Ontario where he continued advocating for Indians and their protection against territory encroachment. However, these pictures have some differences, the picture on the left appears to be more European and the one on the right looks more native.
