    The very first communication was back in Ancient Egypt when they used pigeons for communication. They would attached to pigeons and different birds then send them off to the destination.

    By the a man named Alexander Graham Bell which he invented the telegraph. He used was that he transmitted sound using electricity.By doing this he used the electricity to transmit the sound at one end through the electricity to the other end to hear the opposite end.

    The next thing they tried since the pigeons was riding a horse to send messages cause the pigeons didn't always make it.So then there was something called the pony express which was a group the sent messages all around america as fast as they could by horse.
