    Charles Coughlin created a radio station called the "Radio Priest". During the Great Depression radio was very important because it kept citizen's mind's off of the problems they had. His station averaged 30-45 million listeners a week.

    Stocks had been going up during the 1920s so more and more people invested in stocks. A few tiny crashes had happened throughout the year which showed a sign that it would soon be bad. In late October stock prices plummeted.

    Roosevelt won the 1936 by a landslide. Many Americans favored him because his New Deal had became popular with them and they believed it would eventually bring them out of the Depression.
