    Autumn
    Autumn is the season in between summer and winter. At this time, the leaves of many trees start to change colour before eventually falling to the ground. In New Zealand, autumn includes the months of March, April and May.
  • Winter

    Winter
    Winter is the coldest season. During winter there are less hours of sunlight during the day than any other time of ther year. The winter months are June, July and August.
  • Spring

    Spring
    Spring is the time of the year when many plants begin to grow very quickly. It is also the time when many animals have their babies, because there is plenty of food. Spring includes the months of September, October and November.
  • Summer

    Summer
    Summer is the best time to go swimming or to the beach, because it is the warmest season of the year. During summer, a lot of different fruits rippen. The months of summer are December, January and February.
