Janie looks on the back of the milk carton and finds out that there was a little girl that is kidnapped. The little girl reminds her of herself, and Janie feels as if she remembers herself in the dress depicted on the little girl. -

She asks her parents for her birth certificate but her parents start to avoid the subject and act like she is not talking. -

Janie confronts her "parents" on her discoveries and suspicions. Her parents give her the whole story, saying that "H" is Hannah, her mother who now belongs to a cult. Hannah had dropped Janie off at Miranda and Frank's home, and they never contacted Hannah after that. -
Janie and Reeve's road trip
Instead of going to school, Janie and Reeve travel to New Jersey so that Janie can figure out who her real family is. They arrive at the house, where they find several kids going into the house that the Spring family supposedly lives in. -
