The Evolution of Web Tools

    Second stage of Web tools evolution, known as the "read write web." Included tools such as: ability to comment, like, subscribe, follow, message, upload pictures and videos, and upload links. Commonly known websites/applications include: Facebook, YouTube, Myspace, Twitter, Moodle, and Instagram.
  • Web 3.0 Tools

    Third stage of Web tools evolution, known as the "read-write-execute" stage. Web 3.0 was created by combining web services with semantic markup.
  • Web 4.0 Tools

    Fourth Stage of Web tools evolution, known as the "ultra-intelligent electronic agent." Will include tools such as: facial recognition, virtual assistants, holograms, and will be as intelligent as the human brain.
  • Web 5.0 Tools

    Fifth stage of Web tools evolution, known as the "telepathic web." Will include tools such as: the ability to communicate with the internet through thought with the use of brain implants and payments will be able to be paid by a microchip in the brain or the hand which will be connected to the internet.
