An add-on to the Xbox 360, the Kinect allowed users to sync their movements to the device and put themselves in the games they were playing. This concept brought so many great video game ideas to the table and was very unique during the time of it's release.

    The Nintendo DS was a big hit when it was first released. It allowed children everywhere to play games made specifically for consoles, on a much smaller device. However, like before, Nintendo took things a step further. In 2011, Nintendo introduced the 3DS. Like the original, the 3DS was small and sleek, but it could now support 3D graphics for select games. When playing a 3D game, users could press a small switch on the side to activate a "3D Mode" and enjoy their game with enhanced graphics.
