First Ever Camera
The first version of a portable camera was invented by Johann Zahn in 1685. Zahn was from a German background and was the author of Oculus Artificialis Teledioptricus Sive Telescopium, which was a book that talked about the function and usage of Camera Obscura (a camera invented in 1021) and things like lanterns, microscopes, telescopes, and a lot more. This led Zahn to invent his version of the camera, unfortunately it wasn't able to take pictures, there would be little progress for 130 years. -
First Photograph
The first photograph was taken by a man named Joseph Nicéphore Niépce in 1826. Niépce was a french inventor who is credited to being the father of photography. The first picture was a picture of the view from an upstairs window at Niépce's estate. -
First Film Ever Made
Although the horse in motion isn't a movie that tells a story, it is the first even motion picture created. Made by Eadweard Muybridge, the horse in motion was a film where it was simply a man on a horse while it runs. Although that may not seem like much it was revolutionary, this opened the door for all future movies and tv shows that we watch today. -
First TV
The first TV was released in 1927, it was created by Philo Taylor Farnsworth. It's crazy that he would go to invent the TV as his house didn't have any electricity until age 14. There was no production model sold until later in 1954 where it was sold from $1100 to $1300. -
First Film With Sound
The first ever film with sound was The Jazz Singer. It was a huge hit and was obviously huge for the film industry. This film also brought on the term "talkie", which just means movies with talking. Thomas Edison was one of the people who helped come up with sound in film. -
First Computer Ever Made
The ENIAC was the the first computer ever made. It was created by J. Presper Eckert and John Mauchly at the University of Pennsylvania and took then 3 years to build, it weighed almost 50 tons! It took up 1,800 square feet. This shows how far the industry has came, this took them 3 years to build where now computers can be build between weeks or even days. -
First Video Game
The first video game was invented by William Higinbotham, it was just a simple tennis game. In 1972 a similar game would be made called pong. They never fully released this game to the public but they did have it at an open house where it was a big hit. This game was the first ever, so it set the path for today's video game industry. -

The first ever video game console released was the Magnavox Odyssey. It was created by the company Odyssey and designed by Ralph Bear, who started designing it in 1966! They would go to sell 101 million consoles for $100.00 each. This created the video game industry that's so popular today. -

The first ever cell phone was the Motorola DynaTAC 800x. It was created by Dr. Martin Cooper, who made the first ever phone call in 1973. This phone wouldn't be sold until 1983. It was 13 inches tall and weighed almost 2 pounds! -

The first even website was called CERN. This website was made by Tim Berners-Lee, he made it to give people information of the world wide web. http://info.cern.ch/hypertext/WWW/TheProject.html was the websites link, sadly it can no longer be accessed. -
First Fully Animated 3D CG Movie
The First Toy story was the first movie ever created with all 3D CG animation. It was made by John Lasseter and produced by Pixar Animation Studios and Walt Disney Pictures. This film was a huge influencer in the film community and is what ultimately created the bridge for all the animated movies made today. -
Google is Created
Google is an internet search engine, today it's the most popular internet search engine in the world. It was created by Sergey Brin and Larry Page. Because of google they're 2 of the top 10 most rich people in the world with both of them having a net worth of over 60 billion dollars! Google was the big search engine which led all search engines to come to be.
