The Cuban Missile crisis was a time period where the US and the Soviet Union were almost ready to launch Nuclear weapons at each other, thus starting a nuclear war. Both countries were scared of the other because both countries had Nuclear Weapons directly beside those countries. -
The cultural revolution was a time period in China, led by Mao Zedong, where the Chinese military, specifically young people, were called and forced to ban all traces of capitalism that had previously been taught in China. People who were said to have capitalist ideas were hit, torched and even killed.
