    Claire and her family have just moved into Massie's home. Claire's family needed to get back on thier feet, and needed a place to stay. Massie instantly hates Claire, and wants her to leave.

    Massie has just discovered that Claire is going to attend the same school as her, Massie is very enraged and mad because she feels that Claire will ruin her reputation if she is seen with her. Massie and her friends also start to plot ways to get rid of Claire.

    Massie and her crew's efforts have become more and more vigerous to make Claire leave the school, they have doen everyhting to giving her false directions to the bathroom to telling the shole schoo lthat she had had her period. Claire has had enough and is going to take a stand.

    Claire is finally standing up to Massie and her friends, Claire tells Massie how she feels about what they have been doing to her, and if they didnt stop she would tell Massie's parents. Claire knows that if she tells Massies's parents that Massie woulddn't be able to do her favorite thing in the world, horseback riding. This would potentially ruin Massie's life.

    The first day of school comes around and Massie and her friends instantly start messing with Claire, they call her names, embarrass her, and make her have an awful reputation, when they figure out none of this is phasing Claire they begin to plot dirtier and darker things.

    Massie and her friends back off of Claire because of her huge threat, Claire happily finishes her year at Octavian Country Day School, Massie and her group of friends didn't bother her again from there. After the year was over Claire moved back to Florida, where her father fond a job and she finally found happiness agian.
