    This amendment allows a citizen who has been accused to a fair jury, right to a lawyer, and the right to get on the stand.

    This amendment protects citizens from unfair or cruel punishments, and no enormously large fines placed on an individual.

    This ammendment says there maybe some rights not specified in the constitution but that doesn't mean they can be violated.

    This last amendment in the bill of rights says that any power not given to the federal government it is given to the people and or the states.

    This amendment protects you from being held responsible with a crime if your are not correctly or formally accused by the police. Also if a person serves time for his or her crime they can not be put back on trial for the crime.
