The English won this battle, causing the American army to retreat to Pennsylvania. The British remained in control of New York for the rest of the world.

    The French Alliance was a treaty between France and the American colonies. The treaty stated that France will aid the American colonies in there war against Britain, till Britain gives the American colonies, aka the United States, there independence.

    The battle took place in Monmouth County, New Jersey. The Battle of Monmouth was a back and forth battle between the Americans and British, ending with the British heading back to New York. Since the British left, before the battle was even finished, the Battle of Monmouth was labeled a draw on both sides.
  • Spain joins the War

    Spain declares war on Great Britain for the purpose of reclaiming Gibraltar for Spain and securing Spanish borders in America. Spain wouldn't sign an alliance with the colonies, due to King Charles III believed it'll lead to Spanish colonies revolting. But, Charles III signed a treaty with France to join the war against the British as an ally of the United States ally.
