Arrest of Rosa Parks
Rosa parks was arrested for refusing to give up her seat to a white man on a bus in Montgomery Alabama. She did this noviolently and was made a rallying point for organizing the black community. -
King assassination
Martin Luther King was violently assassinated in Memphis Tenessee, by Jame Earl ray while giving a speech in his motel room balcony. There was a massive manhunt across america as authorities looked for him. when the police found him he was sentenced to 99 years in prison where he died at the age of 70.
