The Infestation
the intrusion began in 1995 right under our nose. It broke no skin, violates not a single cell of our body but somehow managed to leave an egg-like growth inside our brains that would stay inactive until the arrival day. -
Parish
" my brother was born last week " were the 6 words that changed cassies life forever. the day she spoke to her lifelong crush, Ben Parish. they both went to middle school and rode the same bus together but never really had a connection until the day cassie realized they both had new born sibblings. -
1st wave
after a mothership was seen on the outskirts of earth the real invasion began. they started to slowly take out the human race with distructive "waves" that each came with a devastating consequence. The first wave, was an EMP that destroyed all electronics on earth which caused mass chao and put everybody into alert mode. -
the 2nd wave
the 2nd wave consisted of a massive tsunami and a huge bar that was dropped down from the mothership that caused total destructions in all the major coastlines in the world and whipped out most of the population. -
The 3rd wave
After the 2 deadly waves that whipped out more then half the population an even more devastating and contageous plague spread through the remaining survivors. This plague was known as the red death. it starts up in the lungs which leads to a cough, fever, headache, till you start spitting up blood until finally the virus erupts from every opening. -
the 4th wave
after the plague took out most of the population and its loved ones an even more sinester occurance happen. It was descovered that one out of every 3 humans was infested with one of the other beings. this is when they discovered that their plan was to put us against each other. break us from the inside. -
mothers death
when the plague hit a tragedy struck cassies family. her mother contracted the virus which caused her family to stay house bound for her last few weeks. she suffured until the plague finally did her in. cassies father barried her and immediatly set course to find the other survivors and the safe camps. -
Discovery
after cassie and her brother and father found the refugee camp, supposed help came to rescue them but in reality it was the infested troops who came to terminate them. they gathered all the children and sent them off to safety then exterminated the rest including cassies father. but not before she managed to escape and make a promise to her brother that they would reunite. -
Ben
ben becomes ill while living in a refugee camp that ends up being raided and ben is taken in and cured but he feels defeated because he failed to save his little sister and family. but the commander vosch inspires him and gives him a new reason to live for by placing him in a squad and training him to be a soilder. -
ringer
ben eventually ends up meeting a girl named ringer who was placed in their squad by their commander. she convinces him that the soldiers at the base have been lying to them. Then Ben and Ringer discover a sniper who was shooting at them was their drill sergeant. Ben then starts to believes her -
Evan
after decades of no human contact and living in fear cassie is placed in a ravishing young mans path, evan. he helps her back to health and then goes with her to try to keep her promise with her brother although doubting her the whole way. -
the 5th wave
the last stand was when they gave all children and the remaining survivor solders special glasses that were supposed to detect the others but were just a ruse to get the children to kill off their own kind because the glasses detected noninfected humans instead. -
The last stand
after cassie and the others went on a fake mission and discovered what the commandres real intentions were, cassie, sammy, ben and all the others rebelled , reunited and decided to run away.
