    Columbine is one of the most known school shootings of all time. The shooting happened because two studdents were being bullied not only in person but also online. They also planned everything that they were going to do on their computer.

  • Megan Meier commits suicide over cyberbullying

    Megan Meier was 13 when she died. She was cyberbullyed on the Social Networking site "MySpace". A user named Josh Evans started talking to her for a few months but then told her one day that they cannot be friends anymore and she should go kill herself. The user was not a guy but one of her friend's mother teaching Megan a lesson after Megan spread a rumor about her daughter. After "Josh" sent the message she committed suicide 20 minutes later.

  • Ciara Pugsley

    Ciara comitted suicide because of the 'questions' she recieved on her ask.fm. On that site she was constantly called a slut and ugly months leading up to her death.
  • Arapahoe High School Shooting

    A senior boy shot up a high school and killed one girl. He shot down the hallway when he struck the girl in the head. The senior shooter was described as a little geeky but was not ever expected to do this kind of stuff. He got bullied online which is what we assumed made him want to do a school shooting.
  • Anthony Stubbs

    Anthony hung himself because he and his girlfriend were getting bullied on ask.fm because of the fact that he had a daughter named Lily. He disappeared around Christmas time and was found dead in the woods a few weeks later.
  • Suicide of Hannah Smith

    Hannah Smith killed herself a Friday morning after being bullied on a Social Network site Ask.Fm. Her stepmother said that Hannah never showed any emotion of being bullied, she was never sad. Her father is now urging parents to not let their children use this website because too many lives have been taken from it.
  • Suicide of Rebecca Sedwick

    12 year old Rebecca Sedwick committed suicide after she was cyber-bullied for 1,5 years by two girls ages 12 and 14. They have been arrested and charged with aggravated stalking. The 14 year old girl was arrested after she posted on the Social Network site FaceBook "Yes IK I bullied REBECCA nd she killed her self but IDGAF". The bullying started after the 14 year old got upset that Rebecca had dated her current boyfriend and she continued to bully Rebecca until her death in September 2013.
  • Jordan Lewis Suicide

    Jordan committed suicide a day after he viewed a presentation at school about bullying. He did this act because he was "tired of life and was being bullied". The bullying did not stop at school but continued on at home with cyberbullying.
  • Teen Intimidates Witnesses

    Nasheen Anderson was arrested after police found a twitter account that belonged to him that intimidated witnesses to four crimes. The teen posted secret documents related to four crimes and named the witnesses.
  • Teen Makes Harassing Phone Calls to Schools

    Dylan Clark of Michigan was arrested because he made harassing phone calls to schools that have had shootings in the past. Some of the schools he called included Sandy Hook and Alpahoe.
  • Facebook being sued for a teen suicide?

    Carolina Picchio committed suicide due to the bullying she recieved from an exboyfriend and 7 of his friends. There are talks about Facebook being sued because they did not remove the offensive messages being sent to Picchio. After the article came out Facebook made a claim that they would try harder to protect teens from bullying on their site.

    282,000 teenagers took their own lives because of cyberbullying in the year 2010. The number has almlst trippled from the year 2001.
