    Ted Bundy was born in November of 1946 at a facility for young unwed mothers. Bundy actually grew up thinking that his grandparents were his parents, because his mother was ashamed that he had never known his father.

    This new approach to killing his victims seemed to work seeing as how Ted had killed three more young women in this month alone, but when he tried his technique in November, he failed twice. He still did abduct and murder a 17 year old girl.

    On this date, Bundy's first assault was confirmed. He had entered that basement bedroom of an 18 year old female dancer and student at the University of Washington. The girl was then sexually assualted and beat with a metal rod from her own bed frame. She survived, but sadly had obtained permanent brain damage.

    Bundy's next victim came only a month after his first. Bundy actually decided to attack another University of Washington student. This time, he actually killed her and dumped her body in a seperate location.

    This time, Bundy struck at The Evergreen State College, and he kidnapped and murdered a 19-year old female student. He committed murder again a month later when he lured a female student from Central Washington State College by wearing a cast on his arm and asking her to help him carry some books to his car; a Volkswagon Beetle.

    Ted now killed two more young female university students; one he killed after she was seen leaving a tavern late one night and another while she was walking home at night from her boyfriend's dorm room to her sorority house on the University of Washington.

    During this time, Ted changed the location and time of day that he would hunt for his next victims from university campuses at night to a park during the day. Twice during the same day, he abducted and murdered two young females from Lake Sammamish State Park in Washington. Numerous witnessess told the police a handsome young man with a Canadian accent named Ted asked them to help him unload a sailboat from his Beetle because one of his arms was in a sling.

    Ted Bundy moved from Washington to attend law school in Salt Lake City, Utah in the fall. He continued to murder young females while in Utah, however he changed his MO. He started assaulting women who were not college students and pretended to be a police.

    The Colorado and Idaho Murders

    Bundy abducted and killed four different females by pretending to have a leg injury, asking for their help in loading something into his car. One victim was abducted just outside of her hotel while on a holiday; two victims were abducted in the parking lot of a ski hill, and the 4th victim was a junior high student who disappeared while walking home from school.

    Bundy was driving through Utah, and failed to stop for a police officer. Upon searching his Beetle, police found a ski mask, a crowbar, handcuffs, trash bags, and an ice pick. Detectives soon linked his car to the kidnapping in which the intended victim escaped and to the Utah murders as well. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison. While awaiting his trial for a murder, Bundy escaped from the law library of the court building. He was caught 6 days later, but 7 months later escaped again.

    After escaping, Ted took a train, stole a car, and finally took a bus all the way to FL where he began another murderous rampage. In a 30 minute period one night, Bundy brutally attacked four female students at a sorority house on the Florida State Campus. Two victims died, the other two were severly injured.

    During this time, Bundy killed a twelve year old girl, but was finally caught less than a week later in a stolen Beetle. He eventually confessed to murdering 35 young women, but many people believe the number to be much higher. He was convicted of multiple counts of first-degree murder.
