Intel 4004
Intel 4004 was invented by engineers Stanley Mazor, Federico Faggin, and Ted Hoff. This was the first programmable microprocessor to hit the market. The primary use for the Intel 4004 when it came out was for calculators, cash registers, ATM's, and other simple business systems. -
Floppy Disc
Alan Shugart invented the floppy disk at IBM. The primary use of the floppy disk was to store data. The floppy disk was produced in 1967; however, it wasn't available to the public until 1972. -

Steve Sasson, a Kodak engineer, invented the first-ever digital camera. He created this camera using leftover camera parts that had been lying around the lab. This camera weighed in at approximately 8 pounds. -
