Peeta giving bread
Peeta saw Katniss when she was basically starving. He felt bad so he threw a burnt loaf of bread to her. He was later punished for it by his mother. -
Caeser helps in the interview
Caeser Flickerman basically fed her answers. He could tell she was very nervous and he gave her a place to start after every question. -
Cinna dresses Katniss
Cinna made an amazing dress that helped Katniss get all the attention she recieved. Without Cinna's help Katniss would have had a lot of trouble as far as appearance. -
Haymitch's "Lessons"
Haymitch told Katniss a few important things that he learned in the games. one of them being: don't try to fight for supplies or weapons at the Cornucopia. Just get away from the other competitors – and find a water source. -
Haymitch sends ointment
Katniss was burned badly by a fire presumably set by the gamemakers. Haymitch sent her a special ointment to treat herburns. -
Rue points out nest
When Katniss climbed up a tree to escabe some other tributes, she sees Rue, the small girl from district 11, in the tree as well. Rue points to a nest of tracker jackers, which Katniss uses to kill Glimmer, another tribute. -
District 11 sends bread
After Katniss was so kind to Rue, District 11, Katniss assumes, sends bread to her. Katniss thanks them aloud. It is obvious that they were moved after Katniss was so sad when Rue died. -
Thresh spsres Katniss
When Katniss goes to get a backpack, she is attacked by a girl. The girl is attacked by Thresh, who wants revenge for Rue's death. He spares Katniss because he knows they were friends. -
Announcer saves them
When Peeta and Katniss are about to kill themselvees because of a rule change, the games announcer stops them to signal the end of the games. They had barely put the berries that they were going to killl themselves with in their mouths, but they spit them out. -
Caeser helps out again
In the interview after the games Caeser Flickerman again saves Katniss and Peeta. He feeds them answers without making it too noticable. He also played up their "romance".
