    Gould wrote an essay called “Deconstructing the “Science Wars”. The essay touched on the ongoing battle of realists vs. relativists. He considered that the division only caused more harm then good because both sides depends on each other. His tackle on the issues of science and religion shows that he see that certain relationships of schools of thought is dependent on one another and some arent’t. That was his contribution to how science effects the public.

    Gould had many works dealing with evolution and geology. He was also dealing with may philosophical issues of science Gould’s heart of his work was at the American Museum of Natural Histroy. He was awarded many accolades for contribution to the Museum by writing in the Natural History magazine, which resulted in over 300 essays. He connected to the public and the science community by attending to the various needs of the which left a huge impact.
