St Teresa of Avila was born in avila,spain on the 28th march 1515. She was one of 10 children.her family was wealthy and noble.St Teresa is the daughter of Don Alnoso Sanchez De Capeda and Dona Beatriz.

At the age of 5,she managed to convince her brother to go to the land of the moors so they can be beheaded. her uncle spotted them before they reached the moors and brought them back to the city.
