    Kowalska was born third eldest in a family of 10. At age 20 she joined the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy where she spent her entire life teaching young women.

    When at a park dancing, Faustina saw Jesus suffering. Imediatley Kowalska went to the catherdral and there Jesus told her to join a covenent.
