    Linus Yale Jr. invent the cylinder lock and panted it in 1865 in Salisbury NY. He invented it because his father did and he wanted to carry on what his father had started. This lock led to him creating more complex locks and starting a factory to produce them because a lot of people wanted them

    The Invention of Coca Cola
    John Pemberton wanted fame. After the civil war, he wanted to go into industry. He first went into the phramacy business but failed despite the fact he had came up with many good medicines. He then decided to start in the soft drink business because it was becoming more and more popular. So on May 8, 1886 in Alanta, Georgia he invented the drink Coca-Cola. There was a big demand for new soft drinks which helped take off the invention of Coca Cola to now make it a world wide soda brand.

    theophilus van kannel invented the revolving door on August 7, 1888 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He invented it because it was difficult for people to open doors in tall buildings because it creates sort of like a vacuum and a revolving door would make it a lot easier to open.

    Whitcomb L. Judson
    Whitcomb invented the zipper on August 29, 1893 in Chicago Illinois. He invented it for his friend who had back problems and wanted to help him. The invention of the zipper did not become famous until after he died and opened up his factory but now it is used everywhere and is a very popular invention.
