The Nazis have caused rationings in the souronding towns of Lidice. Milada is a very naive girl at the time and thinks everything will get better.

Milada and the rest of the women, girls and children under the age of 3 are stuck in a gym. The Naziś had just attacked lidice and it is temporarily in ruins. Then Milada and few couple of ¨arian¨ children are tested for the pureness of there race.

Eva is taken in a luxsury bus with Ruhza. There is another bus that looks to be filled with Poles. They are all girls and all have blond hair and light eyes. They are forced to speak German and are chosen new names.

The children at Miladas center are given a mark and taken to a nearby town to spend it. After buying a small piece of chocolate she sees an old women that looks like her grandmother. She hurries over to only see the old lady bashed with a club by there chaperone.

Evas adoptive sister Elsbeth, takes Eva into the woods behind there house. In which she and Eva shoot one of Herr Werners pistols. While walking back, Eva hears an song of her old language, and rushes to find a camp full of women woring and singing.
