    Livingstone was born in 1813 the 19th March. He was the second oldest of His six siblings. His mother was named Agnes Hunter, and his father Niel Livingstone.

    Livingstone started to work at a cotten mill at age 10. He worked hard until he got promoted and got more money. After some years Livingstone got enough money to go to a university, at this time Livingstone was 19. Livingstone studied medicine, and that helped him later in life when he cured african villegers from african diceases.

    After a 98-day voyage Livingstone arrived in Cape Town on March 15, 1841. After he arrived Livingstone walked insted of travilling in a caravan. Livingstones ship wasnt that big so it is quite impresive that he sailed in such a little ship.

    The 1st January 1858 David Livingstone set off to his Zambezi river expedition. Livingstone was the first to find the river, but some say that Caesar and Cleopratra saiiled on it together. Zambezi river is the 4th largest river in Africa.

    Livingstone´s wife, Mary Moffat died because of Malaria the 22nd Nov 1862. This effected Livingstones emotions a lot, because he loved her dearly.

    In 1866 Livingstone travelled on his last tour to find the nile, it didnt work and that is one of the reasons the monarcky called Livingstone home.

    Henry Morton Stanley, a New York reporter, got sent out to find Livingstone. People thought Livingstone was dead, Stanley found Livingstone in 187. Stanley found Livingstone three years before Livingstones death.

    Livingstone died of Malaria and other african disease, the 1st May 1873, at age 60, which is a pretty good age.
